Who
we are

The Wild Heat is our way of giving people an escape from the chaos of the city, without having to put in the miles. You don’t need to jump into your car and head off into the wilderness. We’ve got our own wee pocket of peace right in the heart of the West End of Glasgow.

Located in the lush green grounds of West of Scotland Cricket Club, Our sauna and cold plunge sessions are the perfect place to come relax, refresh and reset.

The Perks of Turning Up the Heat

  • Sweat Out the Stress

Saunas increase your heart rate and circulation, which helps relax your muscles and calm your nervous system. Think of it as a mini holiday for your mind.

  • Get the Heart Pumping

Studies show that frequent sauna use can improve cardiovascular function and reduce blood pressure, giving your ticker a gentle but effective workout.

  • Soothe the Soreness

Heat increases blood flow, helping deliver oxygen and nutrients to tired muscles. Your post-workout aches get a gentle “you’ve got this” nudge.

  • Social Sauna Vibes

Sharing a sauna (safely) can boost connection and well-being, because happiness is better when shared… even with steam.

Sauna Etiquette

  • Shower First

Think of it as a warm-up for your sauna adventure. A quick rinse keeps things fresh and makes the experience better for everyone, plus you’ll feel instantly cleaner and ready to relax.

  • Bring a Towel

Your towel is your throne. Sit or lie on it, dab off a little sweat if needed, and keep the benches dry.

  • Keep it Chilled

The sauna isn’t a nightclub. Keep chats soft and phones tucked away. Low voices make it easier for everyone to unwind. We have to be respectful of the surrounding area, just enjoy the quiet and imagine you’re somewhere deep in the woods.

  • Cold Plunge Like a Pro

Plunge like you mean it… but safely. Step in slowly, respect others, and savour that icy shock. The cold plunge is all about feeling refreshed, not turning it into an extreme sport.

  • Hydrate, Don't Dehydrate

We will provide water for your session. You’re not a cactus, keep it refreshed so the heat and cold don’t catch you off guard.

  • No Strong Scents

Perfumes, aftershaves, or super-smelly oils? Best left at home. The sauna is all about natural vibes, and strong scents can overwhelm the space for everyone else.
